WALDGEIST INFORMATION
changes
β Upper and lower canine teeth elongated into sharp fangs.
β Fingernails that grow faster and in a more claw-like shape.
β Antlers, although they vary in size and shape from one individual to another. Right is pronghorn based (but still antler), smaller and intact, left is white-tailed deer based, larger and always broken. See refs.
β Deer-like pointed ears.
β Clawed hands.
β Vulnerability to silver and fire. Silver will burn the skin if touched and can be deadly if the Waldgeist is shot or stabbed with something made of silver. Being set on fire will significantly weaken the Waldgeist and can kill it as well.
β Sharpened senses. Waldgeist will find that their sense of hearing is much sharper, and that they are easily able to pick up on the direction any given noise came from. They also have very keen night-vision, allowing them to hunt better in the dark. However, their eyes are sensitive to light and they may find it difficult to go out in the sun. Thus, most Waldgeist are nocturnal. —note this is most noticeable during the fog, otherwise her eyesight can be sensitive even at night
β Because Waldgeist are undead, they can remove as many of their internal organs as they like. However, this must be done carefully and their hearts and brains must remain intact. If their insides are removed indelicately, they will suffer from shock.
β Increased hunger. Waldgeist canβt process any food other than meat. While animals can satiate them temporarily, theyβll eventually feel an uncontrollable need to feed on humans.
Optional
β A furred mane extending from the head to the tailbone.
β Yellow rings around irises.
β Short fur on any other part of the body (arms, legs)
β A long and fur-covered tail (abruptly ending in bone).
β Hooves in place of feet.
β Deer nose and freckles.
β Paw pads on hands.
β Immunity to cold.
β Dead moss that grows on antlers + replaces blood when hungry. Body starts to rot the longer hunger remains.

text description of completed changed
That isn't the only part of her body that has fur now, as the tops of her arms (shoulder to forearm) and her legs are covered in it. It ranges from the orange-brown of her face (shoulders, thighs) to white (mixed among arms, crus of legs), reflecting piebaldism in deer. The freckles on her arms have also turned white against the orange-brown of her fur. While her underarms have no fur upon her mandatory changes completion, this will not necessarily remain true; when she's too rough with her body—especially when she's hungry—her skin tears, and when it grows back, fur grows over it, which was largely the process of her fur growing in on her arms to begin with. When she doesn't eat, this fur always slowly turns to dried and dead moss, as her body starts to rot. Her blood also coalesces into bright red moss in this event.
Max has asymmetrical antlers. Her right one resembles that of a pronghorn. Despite the name, it's still an antler, and it will shed normally as one. It is noticeably smaller than her left, with only one prong and a curve to the top. Her left antler resembles that of a white-tailed deer, and it is fully grown but broken, with half of it hanging down. It also is in a perpetual state of shedding its velvet, meaning it is always bloody and stringy. The base of it is cracked, but this doesn't hurt. The velvet of her antlers also turns to dead moss should she go too long without eating.
Her hands now have paw pads, one on each finger, a large one across the top of her palm, and a small one on the bottom of her palm, closest to her thumb. See figure four for a visual. Her fingernails grow at a fast rate and have sharpened into claws. They're also completely black and look particularly dead. Her legs are now fully deer legs, complete with hooves.
Rounding out the physical changes, Max sports a furry mane down to her tailbone. While her hair hasn't changed, the mane starts beneath it, at the top of her spine. The fur is a little wild and difficult to tame, which separates it from her hair. To go with it, she now sports a tail as well, though midway down it the fur abruptly ends and the tail turns to bone. The fur is even harder to take care of than the mane, always ending up matted and ratty.
Max possesses an icy cold touch that she can sometimes control. It doesn't affect monsters very much, but if used on humans for an extended amount of time, she can cause frostbite. Another handy waldgesit feature is the ability to remove her organs, though this must be done with extreme care. Her heart and brain must be kept intact. She has a weakness to silver and to fire, and she thrives in the cold, which she is entirely immune to. Her body runs incredibly cold now, as well.
As all waldgeists, Max has an incredibly increased appetite. While she isn't often compelled to hunt, she must consume human meat once every week, or her body will start to deteriorate and she will feel the urge to hunt indiscriminately. Animal meat can stretch this to two weeks, but she will start to lose control towards the end of that. Additionally, her body can no longer process anything but meat, and if she eats too much nonmeat, she will get sick.
